Network Services Engineer

Axell Wireless AB develops repeaters for all types of networks, from TETRA and GSM / EDGE to GSM-R, UMTS and LTE. The product portfolio extends from the volume produced repeaters to customerspecific system solutions. The products and solutions built on industry-leading technology such as software defined radio and digital pre-distortion to provide coverage in tunnels, buildings and sparsely populated areas.

Axell Wireless AB are now looking for a:

Network Services Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting of HW and SW in RF Repeaters on site, including fiber optic installations
- Provide support to our customers on telephone support desk
- Make global commissioning and optimisation of Axell Repeater RF Coverage Solutions
- Maintain good relationship with customers
- Perform surveys and RF measurements on site
- Extensive overseas travel to carry out defined responsibilities including documentation of all work

Essential Experience
- Installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of RF equipment
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with RF instrumentation and tools
- Configuring software based Network Management systems
- Knowledge in Mobile Wireless Communications GSM-R/GSM/UMTS/Tetra

Advantageous Experience of:
- RF Repeaters Systems and fiber optics
- Deployment of In Building RF Coverage solutions
- Operations and Maintenance programs
- Railway communications and associated safety procedures

Skill Set / Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in RF technologies and Mobile Wireless Systems.
- Formal qualifications in RF, Electronics and Wireless Technologies
- Motivated, detail orientated, organized and able to handle a variety of responsibilities
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form in Swedish and English
- Ability to deal effectively with customers and to provide the highest levels of service
- Ability to work under time pressure
- Good problem solving and decision making skills as well as ability to understand and analyze complex issues
